Bus
Roosevelt Island offers convenient and free local bus service in addition to connections to Queens. The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) provides the Red Bus, a fare-free circulator that serves stops throughout the island, and residents and visitors can reach Roosevelt Island via the MTA Q102 bus from Queens (fare required for Q102 ridership).
